Types Of Window Graphics
There are a few different types of vinyl graphics that are used for window graphics:
Window Perforation – Common for store fronts, and vehicle back windows. This material must be installed on the outside as it is transparent from the inside, but full color print from the outside. Starts off white and we print whatever design you choose. It provide some privacy and full design ability without creating any visual blockage. Perforation life span will vary from 1 year to forever depending on install location.
Single Color Vinyl – Commonly used on all window types and the process we use when your design is a single color. This would be a die cut vinyl of the color of your choice. Usually applied to the outside, but can also be applied to the inside facing out. Single color vinyl will last 4-7 years outdoors depending on install location and indoors forever.
Multi Color Vinyl – Common on all window types and the process we use when the design is more than 1 color. Printed on high performance vinyl and either die cut or finished to the shape you specify. These are generally applied to the outside, but can also be printed on to be applied on the inside facing out. When placed on the inside facing out the design is printed on clear, mirrored, and laminated with white for second surface application. Multi color vinyl will last 4-7 years outdoors depending on install location and indoors forever
Frosted Vinyl – Frosted vinyl is very common in medical and professional settings. It looks foggy, smoked, frosted, etc. This can be applied on either side of the glass, but not available with any color. Frosted vinyl will last 3-5 years outdoors depending on install location and indoors forever
First or Second Surface Application – First surface is when the vinyl is applied on the outside, while Second Surface is when the design is installed on the inside facing out.
Shape Of Window Graphics
The shape of your graphics is up to you. If you are doing just text, we will die all the vinyl so the background of the glass will be seen around all text and just the lettering will be visible. If you have logos and detailed images we will recommend doing a contour or square cut shape to highlight the necessary items and minimize the background. The type of vinyl and the design will determine this in many cases,

Price is always calculated by the size, quantity, and type of finish. An average commercial door is about 31” wide and the height will vary. How Long Will It Take To Receive My Window Graphics?
